Your nickname (story behind it)?
As I remember it, when I was around 8, I was trying to do something on my father's computer, I was trying to install ICQ... When it asked me for my nickname, I just pressed some random keys on my keyboard... It turned out to be yalter. After around 2 years of playing a bit of Lineage II, I saw that capital letter thing somewhere and decided that it looked cool. So here is YaLTeR.

First contact to speedrunning (when, how etc.)?
I watched HL2DQ, thought that it was very awesome, then tried to replicate some of the tricks. That's how it all started.

First speedrunning demo?
I can't really remember when I started to record demos. The first speedrun demo is probably my Portal Testchamber 13 Advanced OoB run.

Anything else you want to add here?
When I play a game for the first time, (Gold)Source or not, I like to complete it casually, go through the plot. It can be very interesting.
