Your name? James Tooley

Your occupation/job/studies? Studying Computer Games Programming

Your hobbies? Watching e-sports, speedruns, guitar, learning German

Generic online handle? TYPICAL everywhere

Your music taste? Hmm.. I can't think of anything I dislike enough to not listen to.

Your nickname (story behind it)? I don't really remember. I think I adopted it after a fresh reinstall of CoD2 and after it got some recognition I never changed from it. It was almost like a terrible joke between a friend and I. "It's just TYPICAL isn't it." Said due to my proficiency at the game.

Your config? Well... I rebound crouch to 'c' but I would've have been happier if I had kept it on control. I used 'mouse3' for save but looking back that seems a bit stupid. Blame the lack of buttons on my mouse. My 'space' spams, no single jump. 'q' spams 'e'. As for weapons: 1 = SMG 2 = Magnum 3 = Shotgun 4 = XBow 5 = Grenade \ = RPG Q = Tau cannon for AG2

Computer Specs? Terrible. Q6600, 3GB of DDR2 RAM and a 9800 GTX.

First contact to speedrunning? Something to do with SDA. I was watching through most of the speedruns of games I knew on it because I found them quite interesting. I hadn't even played any Half Lifes but I still watched the runs and was fascinated by them. I mean... Suga back then was amazing. I picked up Orange box for a birthday gift a long with the aforementioned PC and started messing around with it. Only casually but due to my nature ended up getting pretty good. Well, pretty good for back then.

First speedrunning demo? It was probably some new route trick that I had discovered in Episode 1 put on the HL2DQ board. I wouldn't be able to remember which though. I found quite a few new skips from Suga's phase 1 of that game.

Favourtie speedruns from yourself? Episode 1 orb chamber man. That stuff at the time was revolutionary. Not all me obviously but I found out that you could carry metal around and took a couple segments from it.

Favourite speedruns from others? I really like the Outlast stuff at the moment. The GMC stuff is also cool.

Favourite player? Quadrazid. Very consistent, high quality of speedrunning which has never failed to entertain. I'll reciprocate what Jared said though and say that he's my favourite person.

Favourite trick? Orb jumping just feels elegant... nade jumping is too brutal and rough and flying is too easy.

Most annoying monster/map? Monster: Hunter

Map: citadel_01 from Episode 1.

What other games do you like? CoD2 will always have a place in my heart. SC2 is fun.

Anything else you want to add here? Munich is amazing.
